5th VEX Lebanese National Robotics Competition

Congratulations  for all Bekaa robot teams, you were really great and you proved that you are all highly qualified. Hope all the best for all teams in the coming league. Elementary schools from Bekaa, where BTC are implementing VEX robotics curriculum directly or through their instructors, participated in 5th VEX Lebanese National Robotics competition with honored results. Qemam-school Baalbeck , A+ center- Genius MAP , Active Minds School , Al Abrar Jeb Janin. A+ Center- Genius MAP won the Skills Award and Championship Award, and has the right to represent Lebanon in international VEX Robotics competition in USA. Active Minds School won the Stem Research Award, and were qualified to final 4 with a very high score. Qemam School- Baalbeck   were qualified to Final 8 with very High score. Hands-on Activity in Grade 9

Hands-on Activity during a Magnificent  Biology Session with Grade 9 Learners... Karyotype is a picture of chromosomes which are arranged in decreasing order of size, according to the shape, position of the centromere, distribution of the color bands. To understand this, nothing will be better than performing karyotyping in the classroom. My Grade 9 learners enjoyed their Biology lesson by having this hands-on activity, make their own karyotypes, identify the gender and the number of chromosomes in their karyotypes and specify if there is abnormality or not... At the end of the session, they felt like Biology is a very interesting subject. They felt as if they were dealing with chromosomes which are very hard to imagine... This is real involvement... I am sure they will never forget this lesson.
