  1. Google Drive:

One of the most fascinating tools we can resort to. It is needed in any domain and in every time. it helps us get rid of using USBs which are subjected to a lot of problems such as viruses, formatting... In addition, it helps us access our data everywhere and not to be restricted to a specific computer.
Moreover, Google Docs help us avoid the problem of losing information just because of one click or because of not saving.

2. Google Forms:

Previously, we have used to spend hours typing, distributing, and collecting data from our questionnaires just to make a small study for our researches or if we are having a survey. After learning how to make google forms, which can be prepared within few minutes and distributed within seconds I find it worth learning. Data that can be collected once we receive the responses saves nights and days of hard work... In addition, it makes                                                                                           the teacher's life easier and saves his time                                                                                                 spent for preparing exams and tests...

3. Blogs:

Social media "the 21st century invader"  has become a part of our life. We visit the apps more than visiting our relatives. So that, we always resort to those apps and to google once we are in need for any information. Facebook, whatsapp, snapchat, google, instagram... all became essential components of our life. What if we add to them the blog? What if become professional bloggers especially in our domain? Absolutely, we will be effective individuals in the world of social media and we will keep our fingerprint among educators.

4. Webinars:

Once I heard the word "Webinar" I felt that it is something totally new and difficult. But when I have just surfed and found what webinars look like and what precious information they afford, I changed up my mind and I think I will always look for webinars to attend from now on. We always search for workshops here and their, but if we attend webinars, some of the world's most important workshops will be delivered to our homes.

                                                                                     5. Information is available everywhere at anytime nowadays, just we need to teach our learners how to access it. If we just ask them to search on the net, we are absolutely exposing them to find things which are illogical, not very credible or see things which are not suitable to their culture, society, age... For those reasons, we are responsible to help them and supply them with credible resources. The webquest is the solution! It helps the teacher guide learners and aid them access the internet safely by supplying them with specific links which the teacher trusts. Moreover, I found it one of the significant tools that aids the teacher stop being restricted to a textbook and helps him/her expose learners to authentic tasks that they need in their real life.

Posters: Nowadays posters are of great importance. In every science fair we need to have a poster for every project. In STEM researches too we need to design a poster to show the study or the research. Thus, we are in great need to learn how to design them.

Rubistar: One of the most significant assessment tools used nowadays are rubrics. They help  the teacher, the judge or whoever needs to assess certain product to have their assessment based on a certain clear criteria. They even help learners know how their work will be assessed. We have previously spent hours creating our rubrics. Rubistar is a great website I have ever known. It is fantastic. We can create our rubrics within minutes.

Padlet: Padlet is like paper for your screen. Start with an empty page and then put whatever you like on it. Upload a video, record an interview, snap a selfie, write your own text posts or upload some documents, and watch your padlet come to life. Once others add to it, the page will update in real time. Nice tool for posting!

Activeinspire: Promethean active words are one of the necessary tools found at schools nowadays. Since we are working hard to have our learners highly engaged and introduce technology in our classroom. Activeinspire helps teachers create their own activities that are interesting and attract learners' attention who will feel included and enjoy working with such activities. Personally, I found it time consuming, otherwise it is worth learning to design activities using it.

Hands-on Activity in Grade 9

Hands-on Activity during a Magnificent  Biology Session with Grade 9 Learners... Karyotype is a picture of chromosomes which are arranged in decreasing order of size, according to the shape, position of the centromere, distribution of the color bands. To understand this, nothing will be better than performing karyotyping in the classroom. My Grade 9 learners enjoyed their Biology lesson by having this hands-on activity, make their own karyotypes, identify the gender and the number of chromosomes in their karyotypes and specify if there is abnormality or not... At the end of the session, they felt like Biology is a very interesting subject. They felt as if they were dealing with chromosomes which are very hard to imagine... This is real involvement... I am sure they will never forget this lesson. Based on my experience, I always recommend teachers to engage learners in hands-on activities and they will find the difference, since learners will remember what they have ha...

Effect of Education on the Society

What is the effect of education on social life?  1) How People’s Lives and Beliefs were Affected by Education:   Thunderstorms were considered as the manifestations of the wrath of god but science proved this theory wrong. They used to perform rituals to cure a snake bite instead of taking proper medication or treatment. Similar way, some supernatural causes were attributed to diseases like smallpox etc., in the old days. Educations have uprooted many such superstitions and social maladies. The lives of many people have drastically changed for better due to the education. Due to the increased awareness levels and progress in science there is an explosion of human population with improved quality of life and life spans. Education has the power to change people’s lives. We see sudden birth of various diseases, health hazards and natural disasters because of the human greed and over exploitation of the nature. But only education with its powerful resea...
